The Lottery Book: The Truth Behind the Numbers
by Don Catlin
Customer Reviews
Interesting stuff, June 30, 2004
Reviewer: Helene A. Barton "hacbar" (DETROIT, MICHIGAN USA)
This book was actually better than I expected. I knew that this book was not going to help me win the lottery nor improve my chances. This book met those expectations and more. I really think portions of this book should be used by programs which deter people from online gambling as it explains the odds of various lottery games. The title is right on the money, Catlin gives you the truth behind the numbers and giudes you to the best games to play if you must play. He also makes it clear that playing the lottery and gambling are for entertainment purposes.

One of the best instructional books ever written, March 21, 1999
Reviewer: Brock Batsell ([email protected]) (Texas, USA)
Dennis did a great job on this one. This one is perfect for a beginner, novice, or so-called "expert". He explains the 42 terms perfectly assuming nothing. I recommend this to anyone who wants to learn a great new game. My hat's off to you, Dennis.
A must read introduction to "42" for any non-Texan novice, October 25, 1997
Reviewer: A reader
When I moved to Texas two years ago, many of my new friends played an unfamiliar game of "42". I hesitated joining their parties since "42" meant nothing to me. Then I found Dennis Roberson's book, "Winning 42". After reading cover to cover my confidence built and I am now part of the party and looking forward to the next session. The book does contain a few 'typos', but they force you to think and reflect on the game. If you want to learn "42" and its history, this is a MUST READ. book.

Combinatorial Lottery Systems (Wheels) with Guaranteed Wins
by Iliya Bluskov
Customer Reviews
I Highly Recommend This Book - It Worked for Me!!!, September 1, 2004
Reviewer: Vincent Simmons
I own many books on the lottery, and have never felt the need to write a review for any until now. I purchased this book just days ago. After quietly reading it, I immediately discovered what was unique about it. The author uses systems that have been scientifically developed for accuracy, using the mathematical science of combinatorics. For those who may shy away from any discussion math related, don't be fooled by the big word. All of the work has been done already, and if you can read my review, you can master the concepts taught in this book, math or no math. After reading the book, I decided to test the principles on paper the next day. I modified one of the systems, making it adaptable to a Pick 5 came and applied it. To my delight, had I played for real I would have captured a 4 of 5 win, with multiple 3 and 2 number wins. Total winnings were over $460.00. What causes this book to stand out over others is that the systems are optimized for minimal required tickets. In other words, the author has
calculated the lowest number of tickets required to capture the win desired. It is good to see a work vindicated by results and not hype... I highly recommend it...

Reviewer: Jesse Leal, Jr. Real name is Jesus (Brownsville, Texas)
Eventhough this book is low priced, it is a very good book indeed. The strategies are well explained in this book, and there are no mysteries to it. The author says everything direct. It talks about the different ways one can improve ones odds when playing the game.
